Time to fight a good fight. Prepare yourselves for the end is near!

What has this research paper taught me besides knowledge with Iranian culture? Well to start things off it taught me to become more organized in my thought process and just general writing. I am kind of a procrastinator and this project has been smacking my own ass and getting me into better shape to the point where I am not wasting time. Considering I am also writing another research paper, this other one being ten pages, I have been really tight for time trying to balance these two papers out. In general I guess one could say that this is really testing my time management skills. The other things it is teaching me is how to rely on other people such as the people who work at AVC, the people in my online course team, and family as well at times for tips. I am hoping that everything will come out for the better by the time next week has come and gone.
I am a bit worried though that I may not get everything done on time, but I understand that this is something that I must sacrifice for in order to get a good grade in the class in general. I hope that our teacher understands how much effort and time we are all putting into this research paper. I am pretty sure I am just over thinking things like I normally due when I get pressed for time. As long as I keep focused at the task at hand I do believe I wouldn’t have any trouble at all.
I would like to thank all those who have sent me peer draft reviews and that their help and input is greatly appreciated. I understand that there have been some errors going on in our group file sharing section and that what I have posted was deleted so I will be re-posting them and sending emails out to everyone in our group with copies of the peer drafts that I typed to them either tonight or tomorrow morning. Once again thank you for your shared input and I wish you all good luck in this final week for everything else that is coming up in terms of finals not just for this class but for all your other classes you guys may be taking as well.

  2. Managing time is something many of use lack the skills to do efficiently. As we age, our skills improve and we learn to prioritize what is important and delay what is not. This is one of the skills we are excepted to learn in college that will prepare us for life. I also procrastinate and it results in a jam of work that all needs to be done at the same time. This then leads to use rushing and our grades often show it.

It is great to have resources for help such as out fellow classmates, college employees, and family. We can all learn for the suggestions of others and often they can see something more clearly than we might.

Time management is a life skill that we are always developing and can use some improvement. Once we know that we have issues with it, we can work on improving it for us.

  3. Wasup Finch you and I seem to be the same kind of people. I know that overwhelming feeling. I feel it right now as I rush to finish these blog responses and get back to my Psychology Research Paper. I just cannot wait until this week is over. I do not even have time to sleep. In the mist of all the writing I am doing, I have not even studied for my finals. I think I need to learn some of those organization skills too because it seems like I never have enough time.
What ever happened with blackboard set me back at least 3 hours. I usually save all my English work because it is an online class and I know how crappy Blackboard is . But this time I did the peer draft reviews at school. I took me about an hour; I think I did everyone except Sarah’s. When I got home, I was so upset I had to do them over. Seriously I think this class would have been a lot easier if I took it in the classroom. I probably would have understood that first essay and would not have had to redo it, which would have gave me time to study. What ever it’s over now. Have a good one bro.
